Having opened in 1995 as Michael Timothy’s Bistro (which literally raised the bar for Nashua’s restaurants from then on), chef-owner Michael Buckley was also among the first in the farm-to-table movement by morphing his very successful urban north end type Michael Timothy’s into MT’s Local. They kept the most popular of the original menu and expanded on it (gluten-free and vegetarian too), plus made the atmosphere more casual with two dining rooms, one being the wine bar type, but also now a chalkboard of specials. Their revolving menu is ingredient-driven by what’s at peak season among local farms and trusted suppliers. This is a place where both the gourmet aficionado and those wanting more standard choices will be happy. Very nice wine list and definitely, do leave room for dessert!
