A controversial site with rock formations arranged in ways that suggests early cultures may have used it for religious/ceremonial purposes, with standing stones that line up astronomically. Rock tunnels are of particular interest to children to climb and explore and it’s a nice walk in the woods or a place to exercise your imagination. Other theories ponder more recent construction, including what would be a rather elaborate root cellar arrangement. As a side mention, they also raise Alpacas—no petting, they’re behind a fence, but very cute to watch. Note: Being camalids, just be aware that annoyed Alpacas can spit.
Snow shoe ops in the winter, though we couldn’t find info on whether they charge their admission prices for same.
