Explore a dry-docked submarine built with the post WWII revolutionary teardrop design, known for speed and maneuverability. This was the third submarine in the US Navy given the albacore designation and was actively used for research and testing. They have other related memorabilia plus a museum gift shop. (Note: If you suffer from claustrophobia, you may not love being in this ship, it’s tight spaces.) Really fun to walk through and picture living aboard one of these things for months at a time though.
