An indoor and outdoor exhibit and partially interactive space science and engineering museum and planetarium with big screen show schedule that children much enjoy. Named after Christa McAuliffe, the late Concord, NH high school teacher selected to be the first teacher in space and Alan Shepard, first American in space from Derry, NH.
Public hours: Fri.-Sat. 10:30am-4pm, April vacation hours (4/21-5/3) Tues.-Sat. 10:30am-4pm. Closed Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving & Christmas. Open all other holidays 10:30 AM-4 PM
Admission: $10 adults, $7 children age 3-12, $9 Seniors 62+ and students age 13-college ($7 groups 15+). Thurs. and Sun. special 2-for-1 Senior Discount. For shows add $5/pp, with tickets sold until 10 minutes prior to show time. (Note: Mixed reviews, some people think it’s very expensive for what it is, others say their children loved the shows so much, it was a good buy.)
