Much loved by kids of all ages, but also a perfect bribery exchange for when we want to take them on an activity we like more than they might.
For quite some time Keene was without a children’s museum, and Deb Ganley, MBA, Keene resident and a mother herself, took matters into her own hands. Enlisting support from the community, financial help from local businesses and tapping into the talents of doers like herself, she spearheaded the Cheshire Children’s Museum. It is now a favorite creative and discovery center for children in the Monadnock Region. Lots of real life scenario nooks and crannies, an actual but small real airplane (climb in the cockpit), a rowboat with scenery and lots for toddlers as well.
The museum is now in their new location at The Center at Keene which is at 149 Emerald Street, in Keene.
