It’s an hour’s drive from Manchester or 1-1/4 hr. from Portsmouth, but this is the 28th Annual Memorial Day Weekend Arts & Craft Festival which has lots of fun stuff and a great time, plus a little daytrip gives you a taste of the next region north–New Hampshire’s Lakes Region.
It’s held at Mill Falls Marketplace, a fun destination anyway, which is at 312 Daniel Webster Hwy. in Meredith. No cost to attend and it’s held rain or shine and you can even bring a traveling pet companion who’s on leash. It’s hosted by Castleberry Fairs & Festivals (603) 332-2616, email: email@example.com.
Over 75 craftsmen and artisans from all over New England will display their American-made works including fine jewelry, folk art, quilts, aerial photography, fiber arts, wood burning, leather, baskets, ornaments, soy candles, toys and goodies such as provided by The Caramel Guy shown here.
Come and sample a variety of specialty foods such as kettle corn, salsa, herbal dips, gourmet oils, vinegars, maple goods, BBQ sauces, candied nuts, pickles, jams, jellies, baked goods, and more.
In other words, a fun place to pick up one-of-a-kind things for yourself or someone back home so they’d know you thought of them while away.
