28 minutes from Manchester or 23 from Concord, with over 10,000 acres, this is the largest developed state park in New Hampshire. 40 miles of heavily forested trails include marshes, bogs, summits, and ponds. The park offers a variety of options for hikers, mountain bikers and equestrians. Boat rentals on weekends. Day-use area, group areas and a 101-site campground. In Allentown, off Rt. 28, it’s 5 miles north of Hooksett .

Admission: $4 for adults; $2 for children ages 6-11; children ages 5 and under and NH residents age 65 and over, free.
